What is covered, what is not, and who to talk to about a manufacturer warranty.
A&E Pallet Sales does not offer its own warranty on liquidation merchandise, and we are not going to pretend otherwise by quoting a number of days that we could not honour.
What we do offer is a clear description and a covered-claims policy. Every listing states the load class, the condition and an approximate count. If the load you receive does not match that, it is a covered claim under our returns policy, and that policy is your protection.
The reason there is no flat warranty period here is that a liquidation load is not one product. A single skid can carry sealed overstock from this season, shelf-pulls from last, and customer returns of unknown history. No single warranty length could be truthful across that mix.
Where merchandise is new and sealed in its original retail packaging, any manufacturer warranty that came with it travels with the goods. That warranty is between the manufacturer and the end user, on the manufacturer's own terms, and it varies by brand, by product type and by condition.
Claims of that kind go directly to the manufacturer, not to us. We are not an authorised dealer or service centre for any brand we resell, and we cannot register, extend or administer another company's warranty.
On customer returns, open-box goods and untested stock, assume no manufacturer cover at all unless you verify otherwise.
When you resell goods bought from us, you become the seller of record to your own customer. Consumer law in your state, and the policy of any marketplace you sell on, applies to that sale and not to ours.
That means testing what needs testing, describing condition honestly, and handling your own buyer's returns. Recalled, expired, or age-restricted items are your responsibility to identify and handle correctly before they reach a customer.
It is worth saying plainly: buying a mixed load means accepting that some of it will not be sellable. That is priced in, and it is the trade.
No. We offer a 30 day covered-claims window on defective or not-as-described goods, which is a different thing and is set out in the returns policy. We do not offer a product warranty of our own.
No. Loads are sold untested unless the listing says otherwise. Testing every unit in a mixed lot is what makes retail expensive, and skipping it is what makes liquidation cheap.
No. Warranty terms belong to the manufacturer and vary by product, region and condition. Check with them directly using the model number on the unit.
That is a covered claim under the returns policy. Contact us within 30 days with photographs.
Ask before you order. We would rather answer a question than settle a claim.
