Payment
Three methods, all explained in full before you commit to anything.
You place the order first, then you pay
This is the part most stores are vague about, so here it is plainly. When you check out, the order is created and immediately put on hold. Nothing is charged at that moment, because there is no card processor taking a payment.
We then email you the transfer details for whichever method you selected. You send the payment from your own bank or app. When it clears, the order moves to processing and the load is dispatched within 2 business days.
Your load is reserved for 72 hours from the moment the order is placed. That is your window to move the money. If cleared payment has not arrived by then, we may release the load back to the floor and cancel the order. Nothing is owed if that happens.
What we accept
Credit / Debit Card
We email a secure card payment link once the order is placed, and you pay it online in the usual way. This is the option to choose if you want the buyer protection a card gives you.
Bank Transfer (Wire or ACH)
The usual method for larger loads and every truckload. We email the account details once the order is placed. Wires generally clear the same or next business day; ACH takes a little longer on the bank's own schedule.
Zelle
Convenient for single pallets. We email the Zelle details once the order is placed. Send from your own bank's Zelle service and quote the order number in the reference so we can match it quickly.
We do not currently accept PayPal or cryptocurrency. We would rather tell you that up front than display logos for methods we cannot honour.
Payment questions
When exactly am I charged?
You are never charged automatically. You send the payment yourself after the order is placed and the details are emailed to you.
How long do I have to pay?
72 hours from placing the order. That is how long the load is held for you.
When does it ship?
Within 2 business days of the payment clearing, not of the order being placed.
Can I pay by card?
Yes. Choose Credit / Debit Card at checkout and we email you a secure payment link straight afterwards.
Do you take a deposit?
No. Loads are paid in full before dispatch.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel any time before dispatch at no cost. If you have already paid, we refund to the original method within 5 to 10 business days.
Protecting yourself when you pay
Manual transfers are common in freight and liquidation because they carry no processor fee on a five-figure load. They also carry no chargeback, so it is worth being careful, and we would rather say so than not.
Every set of transfer details we send comes from sales@aepalletsales.com and quotes your order number. Our bank details do not change from one order to the next. If you ever receive payment details that differ from a previous order, or that arrive from any other address, stop and call us on (214) 000-0000 before you send anything.
We will never ask you to send payment to a personal name, to a third party, or in cryptocurrency, and we will never phone you in a hurry to change bank details mid-order. Any message that does either of those things did not come from us.
